Solace Surviving Exile and Persecution: Solace is a charity based in Leeds (UK) which provides counselling and psychotherapy to asylum seekers and refugees in the Yorkshire and Humber region of the UK.

Context

The Yorkshire and Humber region has the highest number of dispersed asylum seekers in Britain. There are more asylum seekers in Leeds than any other city in England; second only to Glasgow in the United Kingdom.
